Plum preserves, roses, cranberry, and orange zest. Full-bodied and round, but dry.

winemaker’s notes
Tempranillo, Sangiovese, Grenache, and Nebbiolo harvested August 26, September 9, 10, and 17 of 2021, respectively. With each, a gentle, slow, whole-cluster press as for Champagne was used, taking only the taille portion to stainless tank. All spontaneous fermentations. After fermentations complete, wine racked, chilled, and sulfited in February, 2022. Bottled March 13, 2022.
nota bene
A half-sibling to both the Firefly and Whoa Jake! pet-nats (same harvest, different press cut and vinting). The wine is named after Charlie, though that’s not a picture of her on the label.
