winemaker’s notes
Grapes harvested and destemmed on 8/9 (Sauvignon Blanc), 8/25 (Petite Sirah), and 9/8 (Nebbiolo) of 2022. Petite Sirah and Sauvignon Blanc were crushed; Nebbiolo was not. All spontaneous fermentations. Open bin fermentations with twice daily punch downs. Grapes were pressed on a long, slow cycle in separate lots between 6 and 9 days after harvest. Aged in neutral vessels. Months after fermentations complete, wine racked, sulfited (50 ppm), and bottled June 25, 2023.
