tasting notes
Walnut, butterscotch, orange oil, clove. Semi-sweet with a vibrant acidity.
winemaker’s notes
Viognier harvested August 12, 2017. Pressed whole cluster. Juice and pomace combined. Wild fermentation. Fortified on August 17 with clear grape spirits. Racked off pomace on May 8, 2019. Bottled on August 29, 2021.

Began its life as another vintage of The Alchemist, but we decided to age it longer with oxidation to provide a more sherry-like experience.
